Drum roll please…Oh Yeah…My First Post!!!

With this being my very first post I just wanted to take a quick minute and kind of repeat myself from my home page.  I really want to concentrate on creating post about things that I run into every day that I don’t remember as a kid it happening…

One is going to the grocery store…I really can’t believe how we as a people are to fricken lazy…if you want to make millions of dollars just create something that replaces what people do…Like if you had scales that talk to you…which they do and those people are making millions.  This way when you weigh yourself you don’t have to read it…or maybe we are just big enough that you can’t see it…

I think that should tell you something…anyway before I digress into some off topic idea let me get back to what I was talking about.

So there you have it I was really quite glad to find this as it reinforces what I thought which was I was not the only one and actually the interesting part was there were lots of videos on this particular topic…which for me was actually kind of cool…

I know this will come up in another post as I continue going to the store…but you know what is surprising is I seem to go to the grocery store more now retired than I ever did…and sometimes the number of people inside…well not inside but the number of cars in the parking lot and even more specific is the lack of parking spaces.  Like on a Tuesday afternoon for some reason my grocery store is packed with cars…I don’t mind walking it actually does me some good but I wonder to myself as I walk in…do these people have jobs…

I will save it for another post later on but the number of people who park in the handicap parking spaces that are defiantly not handicap that so gets me going…and the only thing that keeps me calm well tow things is one my wife, Linda, and two her telling me they could be a good reason for them parking there…maybe their handicap is not walking or whatever that cans may be…bottom line is she keeps me from being judgmental.

I could rant on that one for awhile but as I said will save that for another time.

I do enjoy posting into this blog and telling people about the things we as retired people run into in our everyday lives and trust me we run into a lot of things…but they are things that you run into also but we seem to notice it bit more whether or not because we are not stressed down with the everyday 9 to 5 job.  Who knows but I do hope you enjoy reading about some of the things we run into.

Thanks so very much,

The Retired Guy
