Here is some information for those of you not sure if you are a baby boomer and to just allow you to see you could be one of us. First off, there are approximately 70 to 80 million baby boomers worldwide fitting into this category, and they were born between the years of 1946 and 1960 so some quick calculations means if you are between the ages of 70 or down to 56 as of this New Year 2016 you are in fact a baby boomer. We are a “kick in the pants” kind of generation with the spirit of whatever knocks us down we simply get up dust off and keep going.

Now unless you are…oh let’s say in the 5% of people and have already attained financial freedom you are probably wondering what the hell do I do now that I’m retired or thinking about retirement. If I was to guess, and only because I am a baby boomer, the position you are currently in was not and is not the position you held in your mind as your dream at this time in your life. There were a few of us who were not doing that bad until 911 hit, oh and then got to love what happened to the market when it took a pretty hard nose dive, or maybe it was when we felt the repercussions from that hit the housing market took.

Either way it really doesn’t matter if you were one of us who purchased your dream home or something like the equivalent of that only to be in a place where you lost it, are losing it, or are strapped trying to keep it. Yeah that sucks in so many ways, but hey that’s enough doom and gloom.  However, on the happier side of things it also means you lived through what I term “Memories Boomer Cherish”, so how about we lift those spirits and think about things like how we love the original “Rascals”, “The Three Stooges”, “Mickey Mouse Club”(original), “Bewitched”, “I Dream of Jennie” or who can ever forget laying on the floor watching “Bonanza” with little Joe and his whole family, and what about the “Flintstones, Bugs Bunny, Taz, The Road Runner and Wildly Coyote”.

Finally, if you are towards the top of the age group, or had older brothers and sisters, you may even remember “Buffalo Bob” and what the red and white checked shirt puppet called…yeah I thought you would know “It’s Howdy Dooty Time”. One last one is do you remember watching Star Trek, (the original one)?  I’m sure just mentioning one of those shows brings back some memories for you.  Anyway, I think those just triggered some memories…and speaking of trigger the Lone Ranger” was pretty cool also.

Some good memories but hey there’s more check out part two…

The “Secrets of Millionaire Mind” is a very good and informative book as it describes how in detail anyone can change their mind set and actually it goes even further into the steps to create the mind of a millionaire. I found the book to be extremely reader friendly in that, Mr. Eker was able to used vocabulary, or saying it another blunt way, he was able to dumb it down so I could easily relate to it.  It was remarkably amazing how effortlessly it flowed as he explained one ability into the next. His 17 principals are without a doubt in my opinion quite genuine, and dare I say, necessary if you take on the task of adapting a millionaire mind set for yourself.

I will try my best to consolidate what I found interesting and break them down as best I can in this short post.  Probably the most important and the first thing anyone who would like to create more money in their lives would be to get their mind into the right mind set. But they need to understand having the right mind set and thinking positive by using visualization and affirmations.  It was plain to me one would never get any further until they added the one and only ingredient, which is the catalyst to bond all of these elements and that is “ACTION”.

Yet, another component, which I feel Mr. Eker was quite adapt at hitting the nail on the preverbal head, and it’s a element that is missed by so many people as they pick up a new book and do their best to follow the instructions within each one of them. What is it you say? Hang on its coming…Mr. Eker does an excellent job of really putting it back onto oneself. He informs you, if your goal is truly to develop or if you undeniably want to imagine, create and have the millionaire mind set you must learn to live at the edge of your box, and every now and then…step outside?  To phrase it a bit differently you need to become a bit comfortable with being uncomfortable.

The “Millionaire Mind” does something that many lack and that is to strike upon, and which I’ve yet to find a book where such emphasis is place on something that was so highly enlighten to me. Mr. Eker talks in great detail about how to change your blueprint to place of acquiring that of a millionaire mind; however, he communicates his knowledge so eloquently that one cannot, and will not reach the millionaire status without the help of; or through the use of passive income. Passive income, or as some people call it, residual income, can be and has been achieved in many different ways, whether from real estate, sales, to direct marketing and so many others. Simply put, passive income is an income which is generated and continually pays sums of money to you and you have nothing to do with it other than your initial investment.

The way Mr. Eker combined the necessary building block in his book is quite phenomenal and I believe everyone should take advantage of the opportunity as his writing abilities and thought process he is very good at communicating.  Just to give you some of the things you will learn from his book if you so choose to are:

  • Identifying your current blueprint and your financial position.
  • Changing your blueprint for the financial freedom and success we all strive for.
  • Creating your persona to feeling different, confident and strong every day
  • Create a freedom where you no longer have to work ever again
  • Help the many people you’ve only dreamed of helping

I for one can expound on the notion it’s not easy learning to change how we look at our financial future, and to add to this dilemma is in forgetting all of the old stuff we’ve been programmed with from our parents, friends, family members, clergy, and so many others within our past. Take a moment and just try to recall all the things people have told you about yourself and the type of lifestyle you’ve been told you wanted. Forget everything anyone has ever told you about how to reach for those stars and make the kind of money your wanting…unless they are making the kind of money your wanting…my guess is they are not…so forget that advise.

I do take credit for putting this all together and even thought I didn’t do all the research in the process of discovering, experimenting and analyses, but you my friend…if you’re not now you will be, get the benefit of seeing it all neatly put together in sort of a DYI manual…You see…if you think about it…you may completely understand a particular concept, but to technically explain it so you…the one who is the most important person in all of this, would understand it…you know I’m sure what you hear much of the information…and mark my words…you know…like maybe highlight this paragraph…just kidding…but I’m sure you will be saying it or thinking to yourself…I get it.  By the end of this book it’s my intention you will not only know the reasons why things are as they are, but also why they are what they are and most importantly is the knowledge to use the information to tap into your subconscious mind and have it work for you, while your connection with the universe will guide and direct you towards whatever intent you give it to acquire…that is my promise to you…how amazing is that….?

Your subconscious mind it beyond what people of my age tend to study…and it’s because we have the time…not let’s not get fricken nuts here…it not like the…OK let’s put a name to it…us Baby Boomers, have all the time in the world…we don’t.  Many of us are retired and really what important to us in our enjoyment…these are our golden years…years spent doing what we want…when we want without the worry of what someone my say…  You see I started out not really caring what people thought of me but then you move out so much more into the world and sad but true you tend to conform…at least to a bit…anyway as you get older you tend to bring back that attitude of not caring what others think of you so you start living a life that is how you want it.  Plus as you get older you become wiser…but you younger people don’t realize that…hell you don’t even realize your kids are running nuts in a restaurant.  When children are young…you working out in the world as parents you have no clue…your too swamped with your mind overloading because of all the thoughts running rampant within your mind…but as you go through these things you realize ways to slow down those thoughts…

What I can tell you is women are much better at thins than men…if I had to guess I would say it due to their ability to feeling things better and it’s through those feeling things grows better or stronger intuition…sorry guys is what it is.   At the end of the day as we get older through our wisdom we begin to see things a bit differently…feeling things a bit differently…and it causes you to look at this a bit differently.  We begin searching out these concepts by reading more and more books…working on ourselves…finding out about ourselves…you know that inner self…but guess what…you’re getting in on the ground floor before you reach those golden years…and what you will discover is you can use what I will reveal to you to reach those golden years and doing it living a life of abundance…and money is not what I’m referring to…but we will get into this a bit later also….OK…so without further ado let’s start getting to the abyss of things and what better way than to talk about things which were written eons ago but still remain the truth…still shows us the ways…and provides us with answers we known all along.
